It is our priority to connect women as an underrepresented group in technology to build a more diverse community in the tech industry. We encourage women to network and to improve their digital literacy, and successfully compete and disrupt gender imbalance in work environments. In order to achieve this goal we are driving the social dialogue around and undertaking action to bring together industry leaders and advocates to engage, connect and inspire as well as to foster a community of experts who will help drive women forward in the tech industry.
Empowering girls and women to enter STEM fields of study and careers, and stay the course is our second priority. It requires improving the participation, achievement and continuation of girls and women in STEM education, delivery of gender-responsive STEM education, (including through expert training, educational contents and pedagogy) as well as enhancement of awareness of the importance of STEM education for girls and women.
